The IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Peking University held a simple but warm memorial ceremony in memory of Patrick J. McGovern at Peking University, on August 20th, 2014.

People gathered in front of site of the new building, which is just ground-broken and the final location of PKU-IDG/McGovern Institute. At the ceremony, a tall and straight Chinese scholar tree in front of the oncoming building was named after Patrick J. McGovern, indicated that Mr. McGovern’s spirit remains evergreen with us. The members of the PKU-IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research are confident that they make important discoveries in brain research with the aim of contributing to the improvement of human health.
