Ministry of Educationrecently released the list of newly added receivers of government special allowance of the State Council. Twenty experts from Perking University have made to the list, including Professor Fang Fang of the IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research.

Government special allowance of the State council is a kind of reward mechanism for high-qualified professional and technical personnel, as well as high-skilled talents. It is awarded every two years.The State Council grants allowances and certificates to professional and technical personnel who have made outstanding contribution in the fields of the national natural science research, technological research and development, education and teaching, social science research etc., and whose performances and outcomes are recognized by peer experts from the same region and system.
